Eliminate Distracted Driving

Drive Smart

  • Pull over to use your cell phone, or turn it off completely while driving
  • Don’t use other electronic devices while driving 
  • Pull over to deal with children in the car
  • Secure your pets
  • Plan to eat, drink, or apply make-up BEFORE you drive

 Ride Smart

  • Don’t have highly emotional conversations with the driver
  • Remind the driver when they are not paying attention to the road

 Work Smart

  • Implement a no cell-phone/distraction policy at your work place
  • Provide employees with driver excellence training
  • Raise awareness about the danger of distractions
