Alcohol Impaired Driving

Impaired driving continues to be a major contributor to fatalities and serious injuries on Canadian roads; particularly for young drivers.

The Department of Highways and Public Works is proud to support a local project that allowed two local high school students to create some powerful anti- drinking and driving messages for their peers.

Skyler Isaac and Marcus Cammidge received assistance from professional filmmakers to write, direct and edit a short film on the consequences of drinking and driving. The films have been released on You Tube and can be viewed and commented on at the following links.

"Bad Friends" - by Skyler Isaac from FH Collins Secondary School.

"I'll be Fine" - by Marcus Cammidge from Porter Creek Secondary School.
